Tantita Raises the Bar: A New Era of Community Security Begins in Ugborikoko

In a world where corporate responsibility is often reduced to boardroom buzzwords, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL) has risen above the fray, delivering a bold and benevolent gesture that has left the people of Ugborikoko and, indeed, all of Delta State inspired and hopeful.

The security powerhouse, known for its pivotal role in safeguarding Nigeria’s oil and gas infrastructure, has extended its protective arm to the heart of the community—by rebuilding and commissioning an ultra-modern Ugborikoko Divisional Police Station, entirely funded by the company.

The Managing Director of Tantita, High Chief (Engr.) Kestin E. Pondi, FNIIS, FNSE, on behalf of the Chairman/CEO High Chief Government Oweizidei Ekpemupolo, delivered a heartfelt address during the commissioning ceremony, emphasizing that the initiative was not about publicity, but purpose.

“This occasion is not merely the unveiling of a new building for the police, but the celebration of our shared commitment to safety, security, and community development. Our decision to rebuild this police station is a mark of our commitment to restoring peace in Warri and improving the security of life and property for all residents in Warri, Effurun, and its environs.”

More Than a Station — A Symbol of Compassion

This isn’t just a renovation; it is a rebirth. The new police station comes fully equipped with:

  • A newly built and fully equipped police facility
  • A Quarter Guard post, drainage systems, and modern police hall
  • Two operational Hilux vehicles
  • A 30kVA soundproof generator and a 30kVA solar system
  • CCTV cameras, computer systems, AC units, and office equipment
  • State-of-the-art conference and interrogation rooms

Each element reflects the deep humanity behind the Tantita mission—creating not just safer spaces, but dignified, functional environments for those who serve the nation.

Corporate Compassion with Measurable Impact

Since 2022, Tantita has gone far beyond profit margins—playing a vital role in improving oil output from under 700,000 barrels per day to over 1.7 million barrels. But this act in Ugborikoko proves their focus isn’t solely on national growth; it is also about local empowerment.

“As we hand over this facility today,” Pondi said, “we want Nigerians to know that this is a product of the collaboration between communities, government, and the private sector to improve security and economic production.”

A Call to Others: Corporate Nigeria, Take Note

Tantita’s bold gesture in Ugborikoko sets a gold standard for corporate social responsibility. It is a call to other organizations: invest in your people, protect your communities, and prosperity will follow.

As the Nigerian flag waved proudly over the new facility, cheers and applause rang out—not just for a building, but for the message it carried: when private sector compassion meets public need, transformation happens.

Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited hasn’t just built a station—they’ve built hope. And in Ugborikoko, that hope now stands tall, concrete, and unshakable.
